My name is Davanna Davis. I am the childcare provider of Seeds and Sprouts. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and a mom of two children.  

I became inspired to become a professional in the education industry while studying an undergraduate degree in biology in hopes to pursue a career in pediatric medicine. I landed a part time job in a childcare center and the inspiration took hold. Years into my Biology degree I switched gears and obtained a degree in ECE and studied ECE and Special EDU at Brooklyn College. 

After working in childcare for a total of fourteen years I decided it was time to pursue my own path in the field and that’s how Seeds and Sprouts was born. My program has been open since 2022. I have cared for over 50 children since being open and the numbers continue to grow. 

Looking ahead…. 

In the future I plan to expand my childcare business to multiple sites to serve the Brooklyn community and provide quality care to children in need.  

My name is Dashawn. I am part of the administration team and a substitute. I love children and I enjoy building blocks with my baby sister. I am currently working on becoming an entrepreneur and starting my own transportation company......my mom is the Owner of Seeds and Sprouts :)

My name is Kayla Sweet. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and I have a twin brother.  

As a child I loved taking care of kids and babysitting my neighbors' kids. When I graduated high school, I knew that I wanted to work in childcare. I gained experience in childcare by working in summer youth programs, after- school care and Daycare settings. I have experience working with children between the ages of 1-12 years of age. I love the interaction I have with the children watching them grow and learn. 

In the future I plan to expand my qualifications by continuing my education and becoming an early childhood educator.

My name is Brandi, Im a lead Assistant here at Seeds & Sprouts. I love watching children learn, grow and be apart of their journey as they explore the world aroun them. in addition to my love of children I have a passion for makeup & Hair. I am furthering my education and will be certified with my CDA in the upcoming months.
